Dear Brian,
I thought I would update you on my progress after our last Massage course.
What can I say, FANTASTIC!! My business has improved greatly and I am now working extra as I cannot fit all my clients in. I do not advertise as all my work is by recommendation.
I thought I would share a short story with you. A lady came to me on recommendation. She had been to physio for 5 weeks @ 3 visits each week with no success. On examination she could not bend over and had lower back pain, and very tender buttocks. I told her to let me massage her 3 times and if I could not help by then I would refer her to someone else. I massaged her back and buttocks slowly and deeply, as well as a relaxation and de-stress massage. ( I was thorough as I was taught.) She was feeling a lot better after her 1st appointment. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I have been volunteering as an assistant to help Brian during both his Beginner and therapeutic massage courses since the start of 2004.
With regard to the weekend beginner course, I am truly amazed at Brian's teaching techniques and how easily his students can pick up the techniques (on every course I have helped with) and perform a FULL body massage after 1 weekend consisting of Friday night 7-10.30pm, Saturday 9am-8pm, Sunday 9am-4pm.
The students are very enthusiastic about learning the techniques and I must commend Brian as he keeps them involved with a "hands on" approach. What is quite unique with the course is that Brian will massage every student and focus on a problem or injury they may have, to demonstrate how a massage can heal a client.
What I like about the course is that Brian will not move to another body-part to massage until everyone of his students is capable of massaging the current body part, insuring that he has covered the massage technique with each of his students. (He leaves no body behind and they are always happy.)
The All Regions Massage Therapeutic course must also be commended for its excellence in teaching students how to massage and treat problems thoroughly.
Once again, I must highlight the "hands on" technique which is proving a highlight with the students as they can see results and feel what they should be doing when treating a client.
I am a remedial therapist and have done an intense 2.5 year course in London, but I have never come across a school that gets its students up and running, being able to perform a massage and treat a problem like the All Regions Massage school.
